What started as an amendment to 1987 HB 485, was passed as 2010-813 by the Jacksonville City Council, and was then passed as J-3 by the Duval Delegation, has turned into Florida House Bill 1009. It has been assigned to the Community & Military Affairs Subcommittee and, if all goes well, should be passed as a whole with all other community specific bills throughout the state.
We hope this helps enable 5 Points to become an even more diverse restaurant district to complement the existing shopping and nightlife. It also means Black Sheep doesn't have to cram in 150 seats on the bottom floor to have a full service restaurant and a great cocktail program to rival the best in the city...Orsay.
