About

The 1534 Oak Street Project will establish a unique multi-use building in the heart of the vibrant and diverse 5 Points neighborhood, on land that for years was derelict. Through the addition of office space, Jacksonville’s first true rooftop lounge, and a new restaurant from the team behind Chew and Restaurant Orsay, the project will make an important contribution to the ongoing revitalization of 5 Points.

The new building at 1534 Oak Street Project will be a long-lasting and attractive addition to the architecture of historic 5 Points. Through innovative urban in-fill design, the project will create a multi-use building that maximizes the use of space in a style that is progressive yet timeless.

The 1534 Oak Street Project is one of the few current, major, private developments in Jacksonville’s urban core. It will drive significant economic value during its development and through the businesses that will call it home. The project will create dozens of jobs in construction and in hospitality and bring increased tax revenues and other economic benefits to the neighborhood and to the City of Jacksonville.

The unique team behind the 1534 Oak Street Project represents a rare coming-together of individuals and brands that share a common vision and values. Black Sheep Restaurant Group, DW Meyers Constructors and Design Cooperative are all native to Jacksonville and are committed to the sensitive implementation of this forward-looking development project.
